What is RumFest-The Rum Experience?
The RUMFEST is the UK’s Premium Rum Event. It is an international celebration of rum & cane spirit. The Rum Experience company prides itself on bringing together the finest rum, great food and a range of educating seminars and entertainment to make learning about rum both fun and stimulating.

When is The RumFest?
Dates: October Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd 2016
Timings: Saturday  from 12 – 6pm (11am – 6pm for VIP Tickets)
Sunday  from 12 – 5pm with last pours 30mins before the show closes.

What is the ticket entrance price?
Saturday 22nd £49.50 (entry from 12 midday) very limited tickets in advance only
Sunday 23rd £39.50 (entry from 12 midday) very limited tickets in advance only
VIP ticket  £79.50
Weekend ticket  £75.00

When will I receive my online ticket?
E-Tickets are to be validated on the door at The Rum Experience. Please ensure you bring your six figure E-ticket reference number with you. If you have ordered your ticket via the website, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your reference number. e.g.: (A12BCD).

What do I get for my Premium Tasting ticket to The RumFest?
Entry to the RumFest with Brands exhibiting their premium rums and serving 1cl samples (no drink tokens needed here)

  • Access to masterclasses – subject to availability

Can I enter the Boutique RUMFEST?
The Boutique RumFest is an invite only trade and press event held on Friday the 21st of October.  Please e-mail us or fill out the online form for details.

What is the Rare Rum Tasting ticket ?
Most of the seminars at RumFest are free to sign up for (subject to availability) But some will allow you to taste rums or cocktails that are little extra special. These seminars and tastings incur an optional charge. The Rare Tasting Rum seminar will be hosted by Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell, where he will guide you through 6 rare and expensive rums for you to sip & savour, while teaching about their history.

When is drinking up time?
Last pours on ALL stands will be 30mins before show closes on both days so please leave enough time to use your tokens and purchase any rums from the rum shop.

How do I sample/taste the rums?
At the RumFest you are able to sample any of the rums on display without exchanging tokens. You are here to learn about the different rums from all over the world and the exhibitors will offer you samples and chat through the history, production styles and complexities of their product.

What is a Golden Tot Token?
A Golden Tot Token is the event’s currency to help you sample 1cl tots of some of the world’s most exclusive Rum within show.  These Super Premium bottles will be advertised in your show brochure so you know which stand/booth you can find them on – as well as being on the website. Tokens can be purchased from the Reception. These Super Premium Rums CANNOT be sampled without exchanging a number of Tokens. Golden Tot Tokens are non-redeemable.

The Super Premium Rums that are advertised on the website and within The RumFest show brochure will only be available if you have a Golden Tot Token – available for purchase from the reception. 1 Token (£5) = 1 cl sample.

Can I buy rums from the show online?
Yes. All of the rums sampled at the show will be available to purchase online from The Whisky Exchange online stand at the show. www.thewhiskyexchange.com

Can I buy bottles of Rum to take home with me?
Yes. Most of the rums sampled at the show will be available to purchase from the On site retailing stand.

Can I bring my children ?
The RumFest is an over 18 show with hundreds of people sampling and tasting rums from all over the world. Children in general are not allowed to enter into the festival, but if you have a small child or toddler either being carried or within a push chair or pram, then they will be admitted into the show with their parents at no additional cost. It is needless to say that children will NOT be allowed to sample any of the rum.
